As part of the “App of the Day” promo up on iTunes, developer AffinityBlue is offering its Tunable app free of charge to iOS customers.

Designed by the people behind NodeBeat, Tunable is an intuitive visual toolkit for musicians. It comes with a chromatic tuner, a tone/chord generator, a metronome, and a recorder.

You can use the app to learn to play steadily on a beat, but also in tune. The “tuning history” allows users to visualize pitch over time.

Finally, you can record your performance and even add effects like reverb to achieve a pro-level sound. Recordings can be shared through e-mail, SoundCloud, and Dropbox.

The app comes localized in dozens of different languages, including English, Norwegian, Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, and others.

iDevice owners can download Tunable: Tuner, Metronome, and Recorder for free immediately. Requirements include iOS 6.0 and a compatible iDevice.
