14 DAY TRIAL // Frozenbyte has announced a huge discount on its fantasy action platformer, Trine. Both the original version and the sequel are now available at 90% and 80% off, respectively.
Trine is a well-received fantasy action platformer with a fairytale-like atmosphere, which follows the journey of three heroes as they fight to save their kingdom from evil.
The plot is a somewhat typical one, but the gameplay is deeply atmospheric. The graphics, albeit not 3D, are stunning in both versions of the game. Trine has received mostly positive reviews, and has co-op multiplayer and online multiplayer (in the second version).
Both the original Trine and Trine 2 require OS X Snow Leopard and a decently-specced Mac (1GB of RAM, 128 MB graphics, etc), but beware that some graphics cards are not supported. Check with both games’ requirements lists before you take the plunge. Gamepads are supported.
