14 DAY TRIAL // 31x Limited has released Transport Tycoon for iPhone and iPad, a $6.99 / €5.99 game which lets you take control of your own fledgling transport company and use engineering and business skills to keep cargo and passengers moving.
Ported from the PC over to iOS, Transport Tycoon promises to offer everything that made the original game an all-time classic. It even adds some features of its own, including bigger, richer worlds, deeper simulation and a slew of land, sea, and air vehicles.
31x Limited says, “The intuitive new touch screen interface makes it easier than ever to build and maintain your transport network,” though I’having a very hard time believing this statement.
But anyway, the game does look pretty awesome, and I’m sensing this one will be an instant hit with Tycoon fans wielding iPads. The title calls for iOS 5.1 and any compatible iDevice.
