Raises the allowed limits for many configuration options, fixes regression bug

A new version of the popular torrent client Transmission has been released with enhancements for all supported platforms, as well as with a handful of tweaks for Mac users in particular.

Transmission 2.51 updates the bundled libnatpmp and miniupnp port forwarding libraries, adds environment variable options to have libcurl verify SSL certificates, and delivers support for user-specified CXX environment variables during compile time.

For Macintosh users, the new release raises the allowance for many configuration options (extending their limits), and fixes a regression bug that ignored user-specified TRANSMISSION_HOME environment.

On the Qt front, the progress bar colors are now similar to the Mac client’s (also similar to the Web version).

Other changes and bug fixes are documented in the official release notes here.
