14 DAY TRIAL // Rovio Entertainment has released a brand new update for fans of The Croods, the company’s adventure game featuring the world’s first modern family.
Version 1.3.0 is “a massive update with a big and clumsy new character, crazy new creatures to tame and interact with, and a ton of new quests, levels and areas,” according to Rovio Entertainment.
The new character is Thunk, a 280-pound “meat head.” You’ll need to find some use for him when he arrives in your pre-historic world, according to Rovio.
New creatures to catch and tame include little Liyote and “a mysterious furry creature hiding in the trees.” Finally, the new quests, levels, and areas included in this update are “jam-packed with fun new things to do and places to explore.”
The Croods is also jam-packed with in-app purchases, so be careful with it around the kids. Although it’s free to download and play, the game can prove rather difficult at times, making it easier to progress by buying coins and crystals.
