TeamViewer is out with a new version of its productivity tool for Macintosh computers, adding an auto-update tool, an improved installation experience, increased performance and more.

Allowing users to remote-control any Mac over the Internet within seconds, TeamViewer can also be used for online meetings, remote administration as well as a home office tool.

TeamViewer version 8.0.19617 is out for Mac users with an auto-update tool for newer versions, an improved comment window (which promises never to open a web browser again), better Installer experience and increased performance along with optimized speed.

Any problems you may have had with remote courser are now fixed, according to the developers. Other minor improvements and fixes are also included in the new TeamViewer for Mac.

The software is a Universal Binary, meaning you can run it on Intel as well as on older PowerPC machines. It only requires OS X 10.5 aka Leopard. TeamViewer is free for personal use.
