Third-party keyboard app SwiftKey has received a bunch of enhancements in a fresh update this week. Users get new emoji icons, new language support, the ability to swipe-and-type on iPad, and more.

SwiftKey version 1.2 is for all iPhones and iPads running iOS 8.0 or later, and it works on fifth-generation iPod touches too. First on the list of goodies this time around is a pack of extra emojis, complete with the ability to learn and predict the ones that you use most often.

It’s worth noting that you need to sign up for SwiftKey Cloud to allow it to remember how you use it, so it can provide you with suggestions and predictions.

11 new languages are supported in this version (Bulgarian, Croatian, Greek, Hinglish, Icelandic, Indonesian, Latvian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Turkish), and iPad users get SwiftKey Flow, a function that allows typing by swiping from letter to letter. The app also gets keyboard click sounds, general bug fixes and GUI tweaks.

With SwiftKey, users can type in up to two languages at once without changing their settings, and the app will respond as expected. Download SwiftKey Keyboard and check out those new emoji’s sooner rather than later.
