Available now in New Zealand and soon to be released in Canada, and then in the rest of the world, Sony’s Music Unlimited app has been approved in the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPod touch.

Allowing users to stream music to their iDevices, Music Unlimited requires a Basic or Premium subscription and an Internet or mobile data connection. Premium subscribers can choose any album or song from Sony’s catalog, while Basic subscribers can choose from the songs in their personal library, “matched from their PC using Music Sync,” according to Sony.

Subscribers can try the Premium Plan free of charge for 30 days, and “play any song on demand from the Music Unlimited catalog of millions of tracks.”
