Skype 6.11.455 is out for Mac OS X, but don’t bother asking us what’s new in this build because Microsoft has yet to release a changelog.

That’s ok, though. As long as it’s a new build, we can rest assured that it contains fixes and improvements. Windows users got the update first, and no one really knows what’s new inside the new builds, except for the people who coded the update, and maybe some avid users who know the Skype client pixel by pixel.

All in all, you can safely journey over to this link to download Skype for Mac and see how it fares for you.

In case you’re new to the service, the software lets you make free Skype to Skype calls (cross-platform), place low cost calls and send text messages to mobiles and landlines, perform video calls on Skype and Facebook, and even send audio messages.
