Set in 2028 Detroit, Alex Murphy becomes a cyborg-of-sorts after being critically injured in the line of duty (read shot in the head by scumbags). This is the basic plot for those of you who haven’t seen the original.
Multinational conglomerate OmniCorp makes Murphy into a part-man, part-robot police officer and tasks him with fighting an increasing wave of crime across the corrupt city of Detroit.
Version 3.0.0 is out today with an all-new weapon that allows players to do more damage. You guessed it, it’s a Rocket Launcher! Gamers can try out new suits, such as the Navy Urban Camo. Additional suit and weapons will be unlocked in the future.
Tehran, an all-new location, has been opened for battle, and players will face off against the new Tank Boss and other new types of enemies. The update further packs bug fixes and other improvements.
iDevice owners can download RoboCop on any iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 5.1 (or newer) installed. The game supports around a dozen different languages.
