14 DAY TRIAL // The Prestige Cars Update is live in the iTunes App Store for Real Racing 3 fans, adding Bentley and Mercedes-Benz to the game’s range of manufacturers, alongside the much-requested Time Trial mode.
Real Racing 3 version 1.2.0 is available immediately on iPhone and iPad, featuring Bentley and Mercedes-Benz among 55 licensed car manufacturers.
A new Time Trial event type has been added based on popular request. “Race against yourself, your friends and the world for the top leaderboard position,” says EA.
In the new version you can get an R$ boost for the first race of each day, and even bigger bonuses if you score consecutively. Drive cleanly and you’ll also receive R$ bonuses, while the new progression system enables players to unlock cars and events as they advance through their career. Users now have over 180 events at their disposal.
Lastly, EA says the new Real Racing 3 uses per-pixel shadowing on high-end devices, which results in improved graphics on hardware like the iPhone 5 and Retina-enabled iPads.
