Last updated August 2, ProTube includes bug fixes and a playlist manager. The software promises to offer a brilliant YouTube experience with the ability to cache video automatically (for offline playback), background playback, a history & bookmarks tab, an option to search the entire YouTube database, and more.
ProTube is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad, and requires iOS 6.0 or later.
The “universal” app is optimized for devices with four-inch displays (iPhone 5, iPod touch 5G), as well as all versions of the iPad (including the iPad mini).
