Idea Shower has released Pocket (Formerly Read It Later) version 5.0.1, an update to the company’s popular offline reading app for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

Avid fans of the Rotation Lock feature that was previously available in Pocket will be glad to learn that update 5.0.1 restores this functionality. Additionally, it improves the playback quality of YouTube videos on iPads, and the Search and Bulk Edit modules have received some optimizations.

Numerous bug fixes and improvements are also packed inside Pocket 5.0.1. Readers can immediately download Pocket for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad as long as they’re using an iDevice with iOS 6 (or newer) installed.

Although it still supports iOS 6, Pocket has been refreshed with iOS 7 “flat” graphics. For those who haven’t become acquainted with Pocket yet, Idea Shower explains it best: “Once something is in your Pocket, it automatically syncs across your phone, tablet, and computer so you can view it anytime on any device, without an Internet connection.”
