14 DAY TRIAL // Sony Computer Entertainment has released its new iOS application for PS4 owners, which allows gaming fans to see what their friends are playing, compare trophies, chat, and browse the PlayStation Store to send off games to the console.
The most notable feature of Sony’s new PlayStation App is that it allows you to “push games from PlayStation Store to your PS4 system and be ready to game at home.”
You can use it to see what your friends are playing, view your profile and recent activity, compare trophies, chat with your buddies, use the iPhone or iPad as a keyboard for your PS4, and access guides, manuals, and the PlayStation.Blog to get the latest news. The in-app second-screen feature is also available for some games.
To download PlayStation App from the App Store, all you need is an Apple ID and an iDevice running iOS 6. To use the app’s entire set of features, once you’ve downloaded it, you’ll also need a Sony Entertainment Network account and a PS4 console.
