The code-savvy folks at Byte² (Byte Squared) have announced a new version of Office² for iOS customers. The updated suite delivers a host of major new features and enhancements, as well as the usual bag of fixes.

Office² version 5.2 finally includes an auto save feature, and improved presentation rendering, which includes charts, diagrams, tables and additional shapes.

Document rendering for shapes and charts has been improved in the document editor, and the office app now integrates with Citrix ShareFile and Huddle cloud services.

Users can access the new Dropbox cloud interface starting with version 5.2, and all available fonts are now supported.

Many bug fixes and stability improvements are noted by the team at Byte², including one that allows numerous types of files to open properly.

Also worth noting is that DOC/PPT files will no longer produce a warning when the user transfers them over to Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint.
