14 DAY TRIAL // Mozilla has released the second beta of Firefox 27, the new branch which contains a SocialAPI, allowing you to receive notifications (including chat) from multiple integrated services.
Lacking a public set of release notes, Mozilla Firefox 27.0 Beta 2 includes the usual bug fixes for some of the most prolific bugs. The final release is about a month away, so there’s plenty of time for all the bugs to get squashed, perhaps making room for some new features to be implemented as well.
The key new feature in this new Firefox version is the ability to run more than one service at a time with Firefox SocialAPI. This allows users to receive notifications, but also chat with friends.
