Users now have the ability to connect to external servers more easily

The immensely popular Minecraft – Pocket Edition has received some improvements on iOS platforms, including a tweak to make external connections easier.

Minecraft – Pocket Edition 0.7.4 for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad adds the “ability to easier connect to external servers,” according to the official changelog from Mojang.

Additionally, the update allows for Creepers to be ignited by flint and steel, and includes several code corrections to address reported bugs. No specific fixes are mentioned, but players are encouraged to download and install the new version as soon as they can.

Minecraft – Pocket Edition continues to work with all iDevice models that support iOS 5.0 (or newer), including iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad.
