14 DAY TRIAL // Mojang has rolled out a brief update for iPhone-wielding Minecraft fans, adding celestial bodies, an improved title screen and realm improvements.
Minecraft – Pocket Edition 0.7.3 adds sun, moon and stars, double chest, quartz slabs, a “cooler” title screen, and numerous realm improvements, according to Mojang.
The rest of the update contains nothing but bug fixes, though the changelog doesn’t specify exactly which issues have been addressed. Keep your fingers crossed for patches to those bugs that annoy you most.
The Pocket Edition of Mojang’s popular crafting game includes randomly-generated worlds, multiplayer games over Wi-Fi, and Survival and Creative modes.
The game is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. It requires iOS 5.0 or later and displays natively on all screen sizes. Minecraft – Pocket Edition sells for $6.99 / €5.99.
