Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Office for Mac 2011, making the software available as a subscription offering with Office 365 support.

In addition to the Office 365 enhancement, tons of fixes are mentioned in the release notes.

The update fixes an issue that caused an incorrect name to be suggested when users saved a Word document to SkyDrive or SharePoint.

Issues where messages addressed to local contact groups in Outlook could not be sent are resolved, and the same goes for the problems with keyboards and remotes losing control in a PowerPoint for Mac slide show.

If you’ve been having problems with Outlook for Mac not prompting you for credentials after the Kerberos token expires, this update fixes that bug as well.

This and a lot more can be found in Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 v14.3.4.
