14 DAY TRIAL // The Universal (iPhone/iPad) version of the award-winning adventure game from the makers of Samorost and Botanicula, Machinarium 2.0.0, is now available in the iTunes App Store for $4.99/€4.49.
Perfectly tailored for all screen sizes, Machinarium is an atmospheric point-and-click adventure game with tons of puzzles and brain teasers, as well as an endearing storyline.
The puzzles are linked together by an over-world “point and click” adventure story, while each level comes with a hint. These hints become increasingly vague as the game progresses.
Existing players updating to the new 2.0.0 version are urged to note that old saves from 1.X version will not work (meaning you’ll lose your progress). However, “you can use the ‘Lost Save’ functionality within the game to partially recover your position (there are 6 pre-saved positions from various parts of the game),” according to Amanita Design.
