14 DAY TRIAL // LinkedIn Corporation, the generous company whose entire staff is wielding iPad minis thanks to their hard work in 2012, has released an updated version of its mobile app for iPhones and iPads.
LinkedIn 5.1.8 for iOS platforms is a bug-fix release. It may seem a minor speck on your radar, but it’s an important update which improves performance when viewing profiles.
It also includes crash and bug fixes that specifically target iPhone owners. Issues experienced when sending invites and blank pages on slow networks have been addressed as well.
Finally, LinkedIn’s updated iPad and iPhone apps now only support iOS 5.0 and higher versions, which means some users will be required to take the plunge and install a newer version of Apple’s mobile operating system, should they want the latest LinkedIn experience. “Please update your device operating system prior to updating the app,” says the company.
