According to Burbn (the original team behind the app), version 3.5.2 brings numerous performance improvements and bug fixes that will improve your Instagram experience on both iPhone and iPod touch.
Instagram is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad, although it doesn’t run natively on tablet devices (only runs in “blown-up” mode).
The software also requires iOS 5.0 or later to run properly. On iPhone 5 it displays full-screen.
