A lot of popular apps are getting updates today, and that includes almighty Instagram, which lets you turn even the dullest photograph into an artsy moment for the whole world to enjoy.

Instagram 4.2.6 was released today to address an issue for users who experienced “lengthy start times or crashes when Instagram started,” according to the changelog. Also, a bug where some users’ feeds would continually fail to load has been addressed.

Other bugs remain to be addressed in a future update, or so I’m left to believe gazing at the negative comments left by some users on iTunes. For instance, some are seeing a wrong follower count, while others claim the app continues to crash even after applying this recent bug-fix update.

Instagram requires iOS 6.0 or later and works iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
