New update fixes “a number of crashes and other bugs,” according to Google

The Chrome Beta Channel has been updated to 30.0.1599.37 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame, Karen Grünberg of the Google Chrome development team has announced.

Chrome beta users on any of the aforementioned platforms are encouraged to download and install the new version which, according to the developers, “fixes a number of crashes and other bugs.”

As always, the full list of geeky details about this release is available in the SVN log, while newcomers who find any new bugs are urged to file a report with Google.

Chrome requires Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or newer versions, or any Linux distribution that supports DEB and RPM files, such as Ubuntu 12.04+.
