The graphically-appealing Musaic app has been promoted to version 2.0 recently, adding a new button layout, Live iTunes Music Charts, and even a new name.

Musaic is now called Flick Music. As its name implies, the app lets you scroll through a fullscreen mosaic of album covers, and tap on any one of them to start listening.

You can swipe anywhere to skip tracks, flip over the album for recommendations, all with intuitive gestures, making it a truly original gesture-based music player. Version 2.0 contains other nifty enhancements too.

The button-free interface is easier to use now thanks to a full redesign. New gestures have been added for controlling music playback. Live iTunes Music Charts are now available, and the update also packs performance and reliability improvements.
