The social network delivers new fixes and improvements for iOS customers

Few people are complaining about Facebook Messenger on iTunes, and those who do have something bad to say are asking for added functionality, not fixes.

So it’s a bit strange to see Facebook Inc. roll out the gazillionth update for iOS customers with nothing more than “bug fixes.” A bit unfortunate for those who rely on the social network to actually get work done, for instance.

But there you have it. Download Facebook Messenger 3.1.2 for iPhone / iPod touch / iPad and you’re promised a smoother, bug-free experience starting today.

According to Facebook, “Messenger is a fast, free and reliable way to stay in touch. It's just like texting, but you don't have to pay for every message (it works with your data plan).” Just in case you haven’t used the app so far. Supported in dozens of different languages, Facebook Messenger is free.
