The social networking giant blesses iOS customers with “bug fixes”

It’s not every day that Facebook greets us with an update, so let’s make it a good one, even if the changelog only states “bug fixes.”

From the depths of Menlo Park, California comes the painfully-awesome, heart-pounding, face-slamming, Facebook Messenger 2.7.2 with a hoard of “bug fixes” for people experiencing problems loading photos, seeing who is online, replying to texts, and interacting with notifications.

At least that’s what I gather from the complaints scattered around the App Store, since Facebook Inc. only took the time to publish a two-word changelog which leaves you hoping that “your” problem got fixed in this release.

Not to mention everyone is complaining about the outdated look and feel on iOS 7. Honestly, if Facebook doesn’t have the resources to whip an interface into shape, then who does?

Not surprisingly, you can still use Facebook Messenger on iOS 5, and pretty much every iOS device in circulation today is compatible. Take the good with the bad.
