Yelp is a handy tool for searching businesses, finding nearby bars, restaurants, and cafes, etc. You can use hood, distance, price, and what's-open-now to narrow down your searches, and browse reviews to read what’s recommended (or not recommended) around you.
In version 7.0.0, which Yelp considers a pretty major update, you can now write your own reviews right from the iPhone or iPad you’re using.
The company says, “Today's release is pretty epic, and we're not kidding around. Are you sitting down? You might want to sit down. Starting today, you can add reviews from your phone! Visit any business page, tap ‘add review,’ and go bananas.”
