14 DAY TRIAL // Discovery Communications has released an updated version of the company’s iOS client for watching clips and select full episodes from Discovery Channel shows.
Discovery Channel HD version 2.5.1 features an enhanced sharing module which can be experienced throughout the app. Additional Discovery Plus support has been added for Pacific Time customers, alongside some usability tweaks in the Discovery Plus timeline.
The developers also carried out some backend improvements and implemented new bug fixes to make the software more responsive and stable.
A particular fix is mentioned for quiet audio on iPhones. If you’ve been experiencing sound issues with your Discovery Channel app, you should download this update.
The official Discovery Channel app works with all iDevice models that can run iOS 5.0 or newer versions. Every device is natively supported, including those with four-inch screens (iPhone 5, iPod touch 5th-generation).
