The comprehensive OS X maintenance tool CleanMyMac 2 has received a new update from its Ukrainian parents, offering some compatibility fixes and a bunch of general code corrections for various functions.

CleanMyMac 2.0.7 is said to improve compatibility with Parallels products and it also improves the performance of the Universal Binaries module (old apps get stripped of their PowerPC compatibility files).

In the bug fixes department, MacPaw has addressed some freezes with the Uninstaller module, “when uninstalling apps via Finder contextual menu or by moving to Trash.” Some minor functional improvements are also noted in the changelog, alongside fixes for “all known crashes.”

CleanMyMac is a Softpedia favorite, receiving two consecutive 4/5 reviews from yours truly. It’s one of the best cleaning utilities out there, and I recommend testing the trial version on your own machine.
