Of the two apps, Boom immediately caught my attention as it has been in the news quite often. In addition to its truckload of audio options and sound equalizers, the app can actually be used as a fix for many audio glitches you may encounter.
A recently reported issue with MacBook Air audio was fixed by many customers with none other than Boom.
The other discounted app from Global Delight, Voila, is a handy screen capture tool for people who record video guides and stuff like that. It’s a bit more pricey than Boom, but then again it does so much more.
Boom now sells for $.99/€3.59 (down from $6.99/€5.99), while Voila goes for $14.99/€13.99.
