Warner Bros. has released Batman Arkham City Lockdown, the latest installment in the action game series - now powered by Epic’s awesome Unreal Engine 3.

Boasting crisp graphics matched only by the likes of Infinity Blade (also powered by Epic’s graphics engine), Batman Arkham City Lockdown delves players into a Gotham district where “inmates have escaped and Batman has his hands full defeating an army of henchmen and some of his most iconic villains.”

There’s rooftop action and one-on-one fights with the nasty Joker, as well as Two-Face and other lovable enemies of the DC Comics crime-fighter. Players get to choose from several Batman skins and power-ups, and it appears there’s some bonus content to be had as well (comics).

This universal app is designed for both iPhone and iPad and weighs in at 612 MB, which means you’ll only be able to download via WiFi, or via iTunes on your computer.
