Ableton Live 9.1 is available for download today offering dual monitor support, sample-rate conversion with the high-quality SoX Resampler Library, and more.

Ableton Live 9.1 packs a hoard of improvements and tweaks, as well as numerous bug fixes, but I’ll just focus on the key changes introduced in this release.

For one thing, users with an extra monitor laying around will be able to put Ableton on two screens for more real estate.

Sample-rate conversion for audio exporting is now done using the high-quality SoX Resampler Library, which Ableton says will result in “higher quality exports when rendering to a lower sample rate.”

If your computer has multiple CPU cores, Live will be using them when exporting audio. The normalization process will be faster, and the “Export Audio / Video” dialog has been improved.

Some export settings have been regrouped, and “All Tracks” has been renamed to “Individual Tracks.” Download Ableton Live 9.1 and experience these new features, and more, starting today.
