14 DAY TRIAL // iOS developer Betaworks One has released a game for iPhone and iPod touch users, called Dots: A Game About Connecting.
The game has an eight-word description which might be a record for the iTunes App Store. It states, “Dots is a game about connecting the dots.” And it doesn’t get any simpler than this.
Dots is a match-3 puzzler (but you can match as few as 2 dots as well) similar to Bejeweled. You’re given one minute to connect as many dots as you can. I can vouch that it’s insanely addictive.

It requires iOS 5 and a compatible iDevice. It’s not iPad-native but you can install it on a tablet as well. Best of all, it’s completely free of charge, though it does have some in-app purchases, so be careful with it around the kids.
