14 DAY TRIAL // An Apple fan who is eager to know what the community thinks about the upcoming iOS 7 (which Apple is yet to confirm), has kicked off a thread titled “iOS 7.”
User “arunaatk” asks “will ios 7 be a revolutionary design?” Nothing wrong with that, except curiosity like this is frowned upon on Apple Support Communities, the company’s official discussion board.
And that’s exactly what the first person to reply to this question says: “Until it's announced, there is no such thing. Discussing unannounced products is forbidden by the terms of service,” writes a user identified as “KiltedTim.”
What’s worrying is not the apparent big-brother-fear this user exhibits, which undoubtedly gives Apple a bit of a bad rap, but that the Apple Support Communities Terms of Service actually do state that discussing "unannounced products” is forbidden.
