Thanks to a recent update to the official Discovery Channel iOS app, Discovery Plus is now available on iPhone and iPod touch, in addition to iPad.
Discovery Communications says as much in the official changelog: “Discovery Plus is now on your iPhone! Now watch synced to your favorite shows with your iPhone or iPod Touch.”
In other words, Discovery Plus is now a universal experience that displays natively on all screen sizes. Also new in Discovery Channel version 2.6.0 is a fix for Facebook sharing.
Compatible devices include iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad. The app requires iOS 5.0 or later.
