14 DAY TRIAL // After announcing a fully redesigned experience for tablet owners, Netflix confirmed in a blog post that all the latest enhancements are coming to Apple’s iOS platform - specifically, the iPad.
Netflix yesterday announced “a fully redesigned experience for our free app on all Android tablets including the Kindle Fire and NOOK Tablet.”
The company’s mobile products manager, Zal Bilimoria, showed off the new design with a screenshot accompanied by a few technical details, such as the ability to discover more titles thanks to the new UI, and new touch-gestures.
Bilimoria then confirmed: “This experience will be ready for the iPad in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. We listened to you, revamped our design, and hope you'll enjoy it.”
Hopefully it’ll will not be long before the iTunes App Store lists the updated version as available for download.
