All that Apple doesn’t stand for crammed inside a 7-inch knockoff

A seven inch ‘Steve Jobs’ commemorative Android tablet is being advertised and sold in China, land of the most gruesome knockoffs ever to see light of day.

Not only has Apple vocally expressed discontent towards seven-inch tablets and the Android operating system, Shenzhen Lingyun is downright using Steve Jobs’ image to sell the thing.

If there was one icon that was off limits for marketing such a huge ripoff, that icon was the late Apple co-founder, Steven P. Jobs. Where do you put that they’ve crafted it to look like a blown up iPhone 4?

It is unclear why Apple’s legal department sometimes takes long pauses before they put their foot in the mouths of copycats such as Shenzhen Lingyun. Sometimes, they never do.

However, this ‘Commemorative Steve Jobs Android Tablet’ should make Tim Cook & Co. really upset. You may be able to get away ripping off hardware + software, but there should be International rules against tarnishing the image of a visionary genius.
