If you’re experiencing crashes in Coast by Opera, rest assured that you’re not alone. A new version of the browser is now available with stability improvements.

A quick look at the reviews section on Coast’s iTunes page indicates that some device configurations are having trouble coping with the touch-centric browser. Luckily, Opera Software today released a patch.

Packing “stability improvements,” Coast by Opera 2.03 should alleviate most of the reported issues, but there’s no guarantee that all bugs are addressed. Only time (and usage) will tell.

Nevertheless, customers are generally satisfied with the application. Most of them praise the touch-centric design, with some abandoning Safari altogether in favor of Opera’s web surfing tool.

iDevice users can download Coast by Opera for free on any iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad running iOS 6.0 or later.
