14 DAY TRIAL // With Apple's next-generation iPhone just around the corner, here comes China Mobile’s newly-instated Chairman Xi Guohua telling Bloomberg that the two companies are eager to tie the knot and give millions of customers in China the elusive iPhone.
"China Mobile and Apple both have the will to strengthen cooperation," Xi Guohua said. "When there is more specific news, we will disclose it."
There has been a lot of talk surrounding China Mobile’s desire for Apple’s smartphone line, mostly because both China Unicom and China Telecom have been offering Apple’s iPhone with great success. China Mobile seems to be particularly interested in the next generation of iPhones, as they’ll be 4G-enabled, according to industry sources.
