14 DAY TRIAL // Yahoo! has released the fourth major version of its Sports app for iOS device owners, adding a few aesthetic tweaks, Live Games, tweets, Yahoo! login, and more.
“Sportacular is now Yahoo! Sports - Faster, cleaner and more useful than ever before,” says Marissa Mayer's Yahoo!.
The company’s Sports division, which is responsible for the app in question, has been working day and night to make it iPad-native for a universal experience across all iDevice models.
You can now login to Yahoo! Sports to sync your teams across your entire range of devices (including the web), and you’ll notice a cool redesign which makes scanning and navigation much easier.
A “Live” tab has been added so you can follow every in-progress game across all supported leagues, and you can catch live game tweets from local beat writers and team experts.
For baseball fans, Yahoo! Sports now offers pitch-by-pitch information for every at-bat. The app also drops one of its key features in version 4.0 – chatting.
