14 DAY TRIAL // Yahoo! has been listening to the feedback from its fan base and, based on the people’s input, has released a new version of the Yahoo! Weather application for iPhone and iPod touch.
I wouldn’t have guessed in a million years that people were complaining about (or at least wanted to change) the app’s icon, but apparently they were.
According to Yahoo!, version 1.0.3 brings a “beautiful new icon,” with the developers adding discretely “we got the feedback.” A bit surprising, considering what the first order of business should be when it comes to a weather application, such as more accurate forecasting or faster loading times.
Then again, that’s why the release notes also mention “performance improvements.” Go ahead and try out the new Yahoo! Weather at the link below. It runs on all iDevices that can handle iOS 5.0.
