Apple has a retail store at 815 Boylston Street, Boston, Massachusetts, just a few blocks away from where two bombs were detonated earlier this week, killing three and injuring over a hundred others, including runners.

The Cupertino giant has published a short memo on the Boylston store’s web page, stating, “The Apple Store, Boylston Street, is closed temporarily.”

“Our thoughts are with our neighbors in the community and everyone affected by Monday’s tragedy in Boston,” says Apple.

The company doesn’t say for how long the store will be closed, but it is known that the venue is only two blocks away from the place where the bombings took place.

Apple usually supports relief initiatives, such as those associated with the Red Cross, but this time around Apple only offers this terse message.
