The online retailer is now selling Apple TV for just $85 (€62.50). Featuring the part number MD199LL/A, this Apple TV is the latest-generation model and sports “1080p HD programming, including iTunes movies and TV shows, Netflix, Vimeo, photos and more in HD,” according to the description.
You can also use the device to stream video and music from your own library (Mac or PC), and even play your favorite iOS games on the big screen (via AirPlay).
What Amazon doesn’t say is that you also get HBO GO and other hot channels that were recently added by Apple.
The product normally sells for $99 in the United States, and well over €100 throughout Europe. Granted, you won’t save a fortune, but you can use the subtracted cash to rent Gravity, if you haven’t seen it yet. It’s one heck of a movie!
