BitTorrent Sync, the free tool for syncing and transferring large files using the peer-to-peer protocol, is now more stable on first-generation iPads, and includes several other fixes.

Updated to version 1.2.36, the new BitTorrent app for iOS devices is particularly targeted at first-generation iPad holders. According to the release notes accompanying this update, BitTorrent 1.2.36 includes a crash-fix for iPad 1 users.

Despite listing iOS 5 as the minimum system requirement, apparently BitTorrent Inc. still holds a special place in its heart for the very first iPad ever released.

Version 1.2.36 further includes “bug fixes and stability improvements,” and the developers say the application name has been updated, though I can’t spot any difference between the new name and the supposedly old name. Download BitTorrent Sync on any iDevice and enjoy all its features today.
