Feral Interactive has published an update to the Mac installment of BioShock, the genetically-enhanced RPG shooter originally developed by BioWare.

Priced at 23.99 EUR / 29.99 USD, the original BioShock made its way into the Mac App Store on January 27th, 2011. Described by the developers as a "spiritual successor" to BioWare’s System Shock game, BioShock combines role-playing game elements with survival scenarios.

Version 1.1.1 is now available in the Mac App Store with several stability improvements, and added support for new game controllers. The update also fixes a number of minor issues, according to Feral.

System requirements include a 1.8GHz Intel processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 128MB video RAM (supports Nvidia 9400 integrated cards but doesn’t support GMA 950 or X3100 cards), and 8GB hard disk space.
