Microsoft certainly took its time updating Bing for Apple’s flat iOS 7, but it’s better late than never, as they say. Version 4.2 also brings some bug fixes, so be sure to grab it if you’re a fan of the application.

Bing 4.2 comes with a “cleaner, simpler UI for iOS7,” according to Microsoft. As part of the redesign, the app also underwent some changes to the color palette. The all-new Bing logo is now instated as well.

The new version extends the length of time a Microsoft account can stay signed in and adds support for animated .GIF files. The ability to clear local search history is also included.

Bing remains one of the few iPhone apps that require only iOS 4.3 to run. As such, it’s compatible with every iDevice currently in circulation today.
