FileMaker has officially shipped one million units of Bento, the company’s personal database for Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Apple subsidiary FileMaker originally launched Bento in 2008. The Bento family of products is now available in seven languages. The iOS clients for iPhone and iPad sync with Bento for Mac.

Bento for iPhone and Bento for iPad are sold on the iTunes App Store, while Bento for Mac can be found in the Mac App Store.

Commenting on their new achievement, Ryan Rosenberg, vice president of marketing and services for FileMaker, Inc, said: “Bento’s elegance has led to sales of more than a million units, meeting the needs of customers ranging from ranchers and mobile dentists to personal trainers and rock bands.

"With Bento on your iPad, iPhone, or Mac it’s easy to organize your contacts, track projects, plan events and manage just about anything,” Rosenberg added.
