Beamdog, Atari, and Overhaul Games have teamed up to release Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition in the Mac App Store on November 15.

Currently available on Beamdog for pre-purchase, the Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition bundle includes Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Baldur’s Gate II: Throne of Bhaal.

“Bundled with the game on PC and Mac, and available as DLC on iPad and Android, are four diverse new characters, each with their own epic quest. Venture to the distant sands of Zakhara with your new companions, or lead them in a raid upon the home of the gods,” say the publishers.

Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition is basically a remake of Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn (along with its Throne of Bhaal expansion pack).

System requirements include Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) or newer, Intel Core 2 Duo or equivalent, 512 MB of RAM, and 2.5 GB of hard drive space. Video requirements were not available at the time of this writing.
