Frogmind has released a new IP in the iTunes App Store called BADLAND, an atmospheric sidescroller that promises to plunge gamers in adventures unlike any other seen on iOS.
BADLAND is set in a luscious forest filled with various inhabitants. “Although the forest looks like it’s from some beautiful fairytale, there seems to be something terribly wrong,” reads the not-too-surprising plot.
You control one of the inhabitants to discover what’s going on, and you have to move past imaginative traps and obstacles to discover what’s going on.
BADLAND offers a single-player campaign with 40 unique levels (with more on the way), a multiplayer mode for up to four players, one-touch controls combined, and no in-app purchases.
The developer is proud to state that, unlike other games, BADLAND gives the player “the whole game experience optimized to all of his/her iOS devices.” The game sells for $3.99/€3.59.
